Mary loved her family and enjoyed cooking for them. Her favorite show on TV, was the cooking channel. In her younger years she enjoyed playing the piano at church and other community events. While living in Purcell she was an active member of the First Baptist Church family.
She is preceded in deazth by her parents Jack and Ethel and brother Charles Ray Lucas.
She is survived by her Husband George Carpenter of the home in Purcell; Her only child, Penny Parkinson and husband Bobby of Purcell; Two grandchildren; Colton and Callee Parkinson; Mother-in-law: Berneta Lucas of Purcell; Sister-in-law: Donna Lucas of Crawford, Oklahoma; Nieces and nephews: Charlote Lucas of Cheyenne, Oklahoma and Jack Lucas of Oklahoma City.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel in Purcell. Interment followed at Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Oklahoma.
