Funeral services for Mildred Hagler, age 73 of Blair who died at Memorial Community Hospital December 23, 1989 were held Wednesday, December 27, at the First Christian Church. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Mildred F. Hagler was born on December 26, 1915 at Menasha, Wisconsin, to Chris and Stella Thomas Shoman. She moved to Blair in 1948 and worked for the Blair Florist and Greenhouse for 40 years. She was a member of the Blair VFW, Eastern Star of Woodsfield Chapter No. 68, Woodsfield, Ohio.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, and great-granddaughter and four brothers.

Mildred is survived by one daughter, Shirley (Mrs. Leslie) Bucklin, Blair, Nebraska; one son, Ronald (Bud) Nelson, Neenah, Wisconsin; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; three half-sisters, Norma White, Westpoint, Indiana; Dorothy Jackson, Clark Hills, Indiana; and Leona Jones, Gosport, Indiana.
