Jacqueline L. Batt, age 82, entered into rest on August 3, 2013 in West Jordan, Utah.
She was born March 28, 1931 in Honolulu, Hawaii to John E. Lee and Alice D. Lee. She married Norman G. Batt on July 26, 1950 in Ely, Nevada, and the marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.
Jackie was a Pearl Harbor survivor and had a heart of gold. She was a dedicated grand-mother, which included being a special caregiver to her grand-daughter's premature baby. She never stopped expressing love and concern for her family. Her sense of humor and love will surely be missed!
Jackie is survived by her loving husband, Norman G. Batt; children, Arlene (Gary) Beckstead, Norman G. (Debbie) Batt Jr., and Sandra Batt (Withers); sister, Bernice Cannon; 10 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Alice Lee.
Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 W. 4100 So. The family will receive friends at a visitation one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.valleyviewfuneral.com
