Funeral services were held Saturday, June 17, at the Chapel of the Valley, Palmdale, for Mrs. Pairlee Cantrell, 84. Services were conducted by Pastor Norman C. Nelson of the Wayside Chapel, Rosamond and interment followed at Joshua Memorial Park, Lancaster.
Mrs. Cantrell was born in Texas on June 21, 1876, and died at Tehachapi Rest Home on June 14 of a heart condition.
She lived 34 years in California and five years in Kern County.
. Mrs. Cantrell is survived by a sister, Mrs. Josie Walker of Texas, and four sons, Lester Rainwater of Rosamond. Floyd, San Fernando Valley, Herchell, Los Angeles, and Clyde of Washington. She has 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren surviving.
