Daughter of Jennie (Karns) and Robert Young. First marriage was to Herman Ford, they divorced in December 1922. Second marriage was to Chester Banks and third marriage George Hamil. Roxie has one son, Shannon Young, from her first marriage. Roxie died in El Paso, Texas, during surgery for a hernia on the side of her stomach; and was cremated. Her ashes remain there in the columbarium located in the courtyard at the All Saints Episcopal Church.
