Bigelow's regt.; Continental Army pay accounts for service from Jan. 1, 1780, to March 10, 1780; also, Capt. Benjamin Allton's co., Col. His first wife, and mother of his children, was Elizabeth, also buried in Wiswell Cemetery. She died in 1814, and is probably the Elizabeth Simpson who married Joseph Dunton, 26 Oct. 1781, in Sturbridge, Massachusetts.
