Private services for Daniel Arthur Williams, 30 (typo should be 40), of 4121 Utah St., brother of Ted Williams, Boston Red Sox baseball player, will be today in Benbough Mortuary. Entombment will be in Cypress View Mausoleum. He died Monday night in a hospital.
A native San Diegan, Williams made his home here 27 years. He was a painter and interior decorator. Williams was a World War II veteran.
Surviving, in addition to his brother, are his widow, Betty Jean; two sons, Samuel and John, both at the home and his mother, Mrs. May Williams, long active in the Salvation Army here.
