|Mary Ewart Blaylock|
|Death: ||Oct. 4, 1809|
Mary was the wife of Francis Blaylock-she was 33 and died at Riddings.Riddings has been described a little part of Scotland in England-it is on the border.
The gravestone inscription refers to Bowcastle-this is either a stonemason's error or an error in the transcription by those who carried out the MI [Monumental Inscription] survey, because it should read Bewcastle, a large civil parish in the City of Carlisle district of Cumbria, England.To the north the parish extends to the border with Scotland.
