Professional Race Car Driver. He was an auto racer from the early 1930s until his death. Born Roy Chester Russing, he won the Pacific Coast Championship in 1940 and 1941 before professional racing was halted during World War II. He was a popular attraction at the old Gilmore Stadium in Los Angeles, California. He won over 40 midget features during his career before he was killed after crashing into a fence during practice.
