Daughter of Jose & Rosita Montoya Mondragon. She moved to Liberal in 1952 from Clayton, NM and was a housekeeper for many years, and was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. Eva enjoyed traveling, sewing, dancing, listening to music and most of all being with her grandchildren.
She married Aurelio Gonzales on October 8, 1936 at Clayton, NM. In May 1949, she married Macelino S. Romero at Clayton, NM.

George Gonzales (KS); John Gonzales (KS); Allen Romero (FL); Jerry Romero (IL)
2 daughters :
Beverly Romero (CO); Joyce Arredondo (KS);
36 grandchildren; 26 g-grandchildren; numerous gg-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: her parents, 2 brothers,
3 sons, 2 daughters, 3 grandchildren.
Rosary, 7 PM Tuesday, St. Anthony Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial, 10 AM Wednesday at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Rev. James P. Dieker officiating. Arrangements, Miller Mortuary.
