Jess D. Saunders was born Aug. 26, 1915 in Downs, Kansas, the son of John Robert Saunders and Daisy B Van Fleet. He died Aug 8, 1956 age 40 in Cook County, Illinois, a WWII US Air Force veteran, Lt Col. He was the husband of Mary Lou Saunders.
