Evelyn Agnes Hennessy, age 87, died Tuesday July 23, 2013 at the Harmony House assisted living facility in Brainerd, MN.
Evie was born June 30, 1926 in Hardy Saskatchewan, Canada to John and Margaret (Sheehan) Hennessy. She attended grade school in Canada and also St Francis Catholic School in Brainerd. She graduated from Washington High School in Brainerd. She worked for the Brainerd Theatre Co. and Lundborg Jewelry store. She was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church, St. Michael's Guild, and the Crow Wing County Historical Society.
She is survived by her brother Vincent (Bud) Hennessy of Grand Marais, MN and many nieces and nephews and their children.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Rita Hennessy and Mary Gradishar.
Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Brainerd.
