Hilda L. Crist, 101

Hilda L. Crist, 101, of Blair, died Dec. 9, 2005, in Blair.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Interment will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Hilda L. Crist was born Jan. 9, 1904, in Blair to Lester and Antonia (Kegler) Barton. She attended the Summers School. Later, she taught at the same school for two years.

She was married in 1935 and moved to a ranch in Brown County, south of Ainsworth in 1945, where she lived before moving back to Blair in 1965.

She enjoyed gardening and flowers as well as travel. She helped her father raise purebred hogs and Percheron horses.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Belva Ahrens.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
