Tommy worked as a Machinist for Precision Industries in Providence. He was a Kempo Karate Black Belt, studying under Nancy Lee Cerio, and a member of Washington Lodge # 5 F. & A. M. of North Kingstown, now affiliated with Mt. Vernon Lodge # 4 F. & A. M.
He leaves his two brothers, Jimmy P. Nahrgang and his wife Patricia of Glen Burnie, MD and Paul C. Nahrgang and his wife Wendy of East Greenwich. He was the brother of the late Rosemary Nahrgang. Cherished uncle of one niece and three nephews.
