"Mrs. Lillian Orr, 64, of Penn Yan, died yesterday at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital.
Born in Schuyler County, she was the daughter of Mahlon and Stella Davis.
She leaves six daughters. Mrs. Clele Walling of Ovid, Mrs. Mary Hall of Penn Yan, Mrs. Pearl Lamphier of Middlesex, Mrs. Martha Hines of Jerusalem, Mrs. Maxine Hibbard of Branchport and Mrs. Ada Westfall of Cambridge, Fla.; three sons, Robert of Hammondsport, Max of Hammondsport and William of Penn Yan; five sisters, Mrs. Walter Voohees of Bennetsburg, Mrs. Clarence Smart of Branchport, Mrs. Frank Clark of Beaver Dams, Mrs. Lawrence Church of Watkins Glen, Mrs. Floyd Bredenbaker of Cuba; four brothers, Mahlon of Bath, and Walter, Durius and Chester Davis of Pen Yan; 32 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Thayer Funeral Chapel today and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where a service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. George Munger Jr., pastor of Penn Yan Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Himrod Cemetery." - The Geneva Times. Thur. May 26, 1960
