Actor. He is best remembered for his television roles as, 'General Phil Blankenship' on "Wonder Woman" from 1976 to 1977, and 'Dr. Howell' on Falcon Crest' from 1982 to 1983. 'Born Dickinson Swift Eastham in Opelousas, Louisiana, he made his debut on "The Ed Sullivan Show" in 1949. He soon went onto appear in several films including, "Man On Fire" (1957), "Toby Tyler" (1960), "That Darn Cat" (1965), "Silent Night, Lonely Night" (1969), "Tom Sawyer" (1973), "McQ" (1974), and countless television guest roles, "Baretta," "Barnaby Jones," "McMillan And Wife," "The Aquanauts," "Perry Mason," and "King Of Diamonds." Also a talented Broadway actor and singer, he also narrated, and portrayed 'Harris Claiborne' in the television series, "Tombstone Territory" from 1957 to 1959, and appeared as 'Red Wilson' in the school drama, "Bright Promise" from 1969 to 1972. He passed away from Alzheimer's Disease at the age of 89 in Pacific Palisades, California.
