Fred and Hertha had no children. Fred worked many years for Thomas Cook Travel Agency in Chicago. As a child, I remember him as a kindly person. Their house was small and cramped; filled with many treasures. There was a piano on the left side of the house, half way back, and a colorful glass paper weight on top of it. Hertha noticed my interest and gave it to me. I carried it around for fourty years and finally gave it to my sister's daughter to carry on.
Please help us to fill in their memorial pages with stories of this couple!

Love to our family whom we would like to learn more about through pictures and stories! You were very kind-hearted, and you took your time to listen to me as a child, Uncle Fred! -
