Laurie was born June 7, 1984, in Evanston.
Laurie was a 2002 graduate of the Cardinal Academy
Home School and attended Harper College in Palatine,
where she was an honor student, member of Thi Beta

Scholarship. As a cheerful barista at the Hoffman
Estates Starbucks, Laurie served and loved her
customers and co-workers. Others will remember her
as the energetic activity coordinator at the Arlington
Nursing Home calling bingo numbers with glee.
Laurie will be cherished forever in the memories
she created for her family and friends through her
journals and notes of encouragement. Her passion was to bring joy to those around her, to
share her love for Jesus. Her heart beat for those who needed a friend. Laurie served as a
missionary with International Teams in Queretaro, Mexico for 10 months in 2002. As a student
impact leader at Willow Creek and counselor at Lake Geneva Youth Camp for many years,
Laurie left an indelible stamp on the hearts of all.

(Pam) Boncimino; sweetest of sisters to Greg (Cheryl) Boncimino of Houston, Chris (Christa)
Boncimino of Barrington, Katie (Tom) Michel of Berwyn, Kristin Kovacevich of Lakemoor and
Scott and Mike Ely. Missing her are her nieces and nephews, Ashley, Brooke, Nora, Denver,

James) Boncimino; aunts and uncles, JoAnne (Mike) Gunderson, Gail (Bob) French, Phil (Gail)
Peszat, Jim (Gayle) Boncimino, Nancy (Tom) O'Connor and Steve Kovacevich, who will hold the
love "Little La" gave them, her dearest cousins, Phil (Valerie), Heidi (Jim), Mandy, Molly (Mike),
Erica, Jimmy, Adam, Tony, Shelley, Jamie and Kaitlyn; and her friends, far too many to list,
celebrate her life and legacy. Her fiance, Scott Stirniman of Schaumburg, will forever be blessed
knowing the love Laurie held for him.
