Mr. Abrams died Thursday, July 12. He was born in Rutherford County, N.C., a son of the late Julius and Docia Sparks Abrams. He was retired from Conso in Union, S.C., and was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church where he was a former deacon and Sunday School teacher.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ruth Ingle Abrams of Hartsville; one daughter and son-in-law, Frances (Ray) Petty of Hartsville; four grandchildren, Amy Petty, Susan (Ervin) McElveen and Kerry (Steve) Parker, all of Hartsville, and Beth (Phillip) Long of Sumter; daughter-in-law, Mrs. Irene Abrams of Buffalo, S.C.; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Abrams.
