Funeral services for Ashley Devaughn Chadwick, 36, of Jackson's Gap, AL will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, July 19, 2013 at Bass Funeral Home Chapel, with The Reverend James Owens officiating. Burial will follow in Eagle Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 PM, Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Bass Funeral Home.

Mr. Chadwick was born February 15, 1977, in Tallapoosa County. He died Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Russell Medical Center, following a brief illness.

Ashley was Baptist by faith and was employed with Sims Electric as a heating and air technician.

Survivors include his parents, Pat and Barbara Chadwick of Jackson's Gap; Fiancée, Jennifer Stewart of Jackson's Gap; son, Brianlee Chadwick of Cragford; step-son, Trenton D. Goodson of Jackson's Gap; daughter, Courtney Hanna of Woodland, AL; two step-daughters, April and Tarra Goodson of Jackson's Gap; brother, Darrell (Misty) Chadwick of Jackson's Gap; step brother, Shane Kidwell of Jackson's Gap; three step-sisters; Sonya Whittaker of Leeds, Al, Susie Usrey and Michelle Britton both of Goodwater and granddaughter, Malorie Hanna of Woodland, AL.
