Henry Frederick Bolln Succumbs to Blood Poisoning

Henry Frederick Bolln, who died Sunday June 23, 1918, at 1 a.m. in Lord Lister Hospital, Omaha, was born November 17, 1884, near Calhoun, Nebraska and as nearly 34 years of age,

His death was caused from blood poisoning. A few weeks ago he ran a splinter in his hand and it became necessary to operate upon it, amputating a finger in hopes of saving his life, but the operation was of no avail and his death occurred as above stated.

He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Claus Bolln of this city and besides the parents there survives his brother, Joachim and August of Fort Calhoun and Wilhelm of this city and Herman of Silver Creek, and a sister, Mrs. Emma Whitley of Antioch.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday at the family home at 1:00 p.m. and the Lutheran Church at 1:30p.m. Interment was made in the Blair Cemetery.
