Mrs. Eunice B. Davidson

Services for Mrs. Eunice Bateman Davidson, 93, were held June 8 in the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home. Dr. Don McCoy officiated at the service assisted by Rev. Kirney Bailey of Walker Memorial Baptist Church in Franklin. Burial was in the New Hope Church Cemetery in Hickman County.

Mrs. Davidson died Tuesday, June 6 at Dickson General Hospital following a sort illness.

Born in Hickman County in the New Hope Community, she was the daughter of the late George T. and Jane Dedmon Bateman. She was the widow of Hickman Davidson who died in 1975, a few months after the couple celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary. Mrs. Davidson was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dickson.

She is survived by two sons, Paul R. Davidson of Paragould Ark. and Jesse R. Davidson of Dickson and a daughter, Mrs. R. H. (Eva) Barker of Franklin; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Charlton Davidson, Jerry Barker, Tony Davidson, Mike Myatt, Clarence Davidson and Leonard Davidson.
