Actress. She began her career at a Kansas City TV station doing weather shows before moving to Los Angeles to except a part in a "Maverick" television episode. She is best noted for the role as schoolteacher 'Miss Canfield' on "Leave It To Beaver" series and also played Richard Kimball's murdered wife in "The Fugitive" series. Her film credits included "Highway Hearing" (1956), "The Invisible Boy" (1957), "Pharaoh's Curse" (1957), "Quantrill's Raiders" (1958) and "The Young Philadelphians" (1959). (bio by: John "J-Cat" Griffith)

Ms. Brewster was a direct descendant of pilgrim elder William Brewster,Gov.of Plymouth Colony William Bradford and 18th century poet and writer Martha Wadsworth Brewster. Her ashes were scattered in the Pacific ocean.
