MRS. JOSEPHINE JONES
George E. Jones. of 484 West Third street, received word this morning of the death in Ridgeville, Ind., of his mother. Mrs. Josephine Jones, who was the widow of Alien D. Jones and resided in Bunker Hill for many years.<
Mr. Jones left for Ridgeville immediately and will accompany the body to Bunker Hill for funeral services and interment.
Mrs. Jones, who was 8? yearn old, left Bunker Hill about 25 years ago, following the death of her husband, to reside with her daughter, Mrs. Grace Peek, at French Lick, Ind. She had since resided there and at the time of her death was visiting at the home of another daughter, Mrs. Ethel Wall, at Ridgeville. Funeral arrangements will be announced tomorrow. PERU, Ind., Jan. 10 --Funeral services for Mrs. Josephine Jones, mother of former Postmaster George E. Jones were conducted from the Baptist church in Bunker Hill this afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial was in Bunker Hill Cemetery.
