Vivian I. Huff, 89, of 16th Street died at 5:45 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26, 1999, at Columbus Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was a member of First Christian Church and Victory Class of the church. She was a former member of Order of Eastern Star.
Funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Myers Funeral Service, Hathaway-Myers Chapel, on Pearl Street with the Rev. Michael T. Hogg officiating. Calling will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday. Graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Trinity Springs Cemetery near Shoals.
Memorials may be made to Alzheimers Disease and Related Disorders.
Mrs. Huff was born in Charleston, Ill., June 27, 1910, the daughter of Samuel A. and Ollie L. Curtis Allison. She married Legrande Kern July 31, 1930. He died July 27, 1952. She married William Earl Huff March 4, 1970. He died Jan. 24, 1980.
Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Marley of Columbus; sisters, Marie Hughes of Sidney, Ill., Betty Pruett of Mohomet, Ill., Vera Kirby of Champaign, Ill., Opal Burwell of Camargo, Ill., and Velma Shockley of Murdock, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Lee Kern; a granddaughter; two sisters; and a brother.
