David Beach, a respected resident of Cherubusco, passed away at his home here on September 29. The deceased was born at Chateaugay, on May 13th, 1839, and had rsided at Cherubusco for many years where he was known to all as a kind neighbor and good citizen. He married Mary J Nichols, of Vermont, who passed from life a number of years ago.
He leaves surviving four sons and five daughters: Willard Beach, of Ellenburg; John of Malone; Edward and David, of Bellmont; Mrs. George Matthews; Mrs. Matt Matthews and Mrs. L.D. Clark, of Cherubusco; Mrs. Dennis Malark, of Ellenburg; Mrs. G.H. Daly of West Albany; one brother, Joseph Beach, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Nichols, of Cherubusco, and Sadie Beach, of Chateaugay, are also living.
The funeral was held at St. Philomena's church, Saturday, October 1, at 10 a.m. Interment at Cherubusco.
