| Birth: | 1781 | | Death: | 1906 |  Born in Ireland, he served in The Royal Navy where he fought in the War of 1812, the battle of Trafalgar and the the Crimean War (under Horatio Nelson). In 1857, after the war was over, Kingsley moved to Bloomfield, Mo. In 1861, he became the oldest man to enlist in the Confederate Navy (at the age of 80) and served until the end of the Civil war retiring from the Military in 1865 at the age of 84. He died quietly in Bloomfield, Mo. purportedly at the age of 125.
