WHEELER — Karla Joy Belote, 71, of Wheeler died Friday, July 12, 2013.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Church of Christ in Shamrock with Max McClendon, minister, officiating. Burial will follow in Wheeler Cemetery. Arrangements are by Peppers Family Funeral Home of Wheeler.

Mrs. Belote was born Aug. 8, 1941, to Steve W. and Helen Elaine Lott Lanning. She married Malcolm Leon Belote on Feb. 11, 1960.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Steve Belote of Eden and Danny Belote and Cody Belote, both of Amarillo; a daughter, Tina Stokes of Kalamazoo, Michigan; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Linda Britten and Donna Sutliff.

The family suggests memorials be to Church of Christ, 107 W. Laville St., Shamrock, TX 79079.
