Garrett Bridges, 6 weeks old, son of Mrs. Dorothy Bridges, 6226 W. Colgate Ave., was found dead under the covers of his bed by his mother. Mrs. Bridges summoned Dr. S. N. Kowitt, 471 S. FAIRFAX Ave., and a Fire Department rescue squad was called, but the baby failed to revive.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine whether the infant died from lack of oxygen under the blankets or from respiratory ailments.
