Memorial services for John E. Fritzmeier, 81, of Blair, will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, April 14, 2000, at the Congregational Church (UCC) in Blair.

John E. Fritzmeier was born August 5, 1918, to William and Villa (Ahlhauser) Fritzmeier, in Fall Creek, Ill.

He was a former pastor of the local church.

He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and Ron Kennedy of Omaha; also, three sons and daughters-in-law, Lloyd and Sandy Fritzmeier of Atlanta, Ga., Bob Fritzmeier of Mapleton, Iowa, and David and Char Fritzmeier of Beatrice. And, he is survived by 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Geraldine. Memorials are suggested to the United Congregational Church (UCC) or Crowell Memorial Home. Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
