Mabel Bohs, 87

Funeral services for Mabel Bohs, age 87 of Blair will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 18, at First Lutheran Church with Rev. J. David Nelson officiating. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Mabel died at Memorial Community Hospital on August 16, 1989.

Mabel Bohs was born on August 21, 1901 in Blair, Nebraska to Oliver and Olive McKenny Hudelson. She attended Blair Elementary School and graduated from Blair High School.

She married Andrew Traney Bohs and for many years operated a grocery store in Blair before retirement.  She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Blair American Legion Auxiliary, and Memorial Community Hospital Auxiliary and was very active in the Hospital Rummage Sale.

Mabel is survived by two sister-in-laws, Eleanor Hudelson of Omaha and Mrs. Les (Anna) Johnson, Blair; a brother–in-law Ernie Bohs of Blair; and many nieces and nephews.

Mabel was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Traney in 1986; and one brother and sister.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
