Jesse Bigelow is Dead
Jesse H. Bigelow died last Tuesday morning at 12:15 o’clock at his mother’s home in this city after a week’s illness, aged 24 years. Few of his intimate friends knew of his illness until the report of his death reached them.
He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bigelow and reared in Blair, attending the public schools here and was a general favorite with is associates in school and since. He father and mother, married sisters, Mrs. Ed Wolff, Mrs. Don Jones, and Mrs. Fred Nemetz are residents of this city.
Funeral service was held at the Christian Church Thanksgiving Day at 3 o’clock, Rev. C. M. Foreman, pastor of the Baptist Church conducting the service and burial was in the Blair Cemetery. (The Blair Enterprise, December 1, 1916)

“Jess” as he was familiarly called, was born in this city September 21 1892, and was therefore just past 24 years of age. He leaves a father, Frank Bigelow, and his mother, Mrs. S.
