MRS. GEO. BRUSE DIED SUDDENLY

Mrs. George Bruse, 71, died suddenly at her home in Sibley, Iowa on February 10th. She had been shoveling snow at her home.

She was Eunice Killian before her marriage to Mr. Bruse and they made their home in Blair for many years before moving to Sibley, Ia. They are the parents of two sons, John of Blair and George, Jr., of Medford, Oregon.

Funeral services will be in Sibley, Iowa on Friday, and on Saturday in Blair at 2 p.m. at the St. Mary's Episcopal Church. The Rev. Wm. Shattuck will officiate. The Campbell Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

MRS. GEO. BRUSE BURIED IN BLAIR

Mrs. George Bruse, 71, passed away at her home in Sibley, Ia., on February 10th. Her death was attributed to a heart attack while shoveling show.

Eunice Kilian, daughter of Major and Mrs. J.N. Kilian, was born in Columbus, Nebraska on September 3, 1893. After spending her childhood at various army posts in the U.S. and overseas, she returned to Blair in 1913 with her mother.

She was married to George Bruse on February 23, 1916 at the St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Blair. To this union was born John A. Bruse of Blair; Margaret Ann Bruse (deceased in 1919), and George K. Bruse of Medord, Oregon. Her husband, two sons, and three grandchildren are survivors.

Mrs. Bruse was a member of the St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Blair and of McKinley Chapter 16 of the O.E.S. at Blair. She served as Worthy Matron of O.E.S in 1938.

Mr. and Mrs. Bruse lived in Sibley, Iowa for the past fifteen years.

Funeral services were held in Sibley on February 12th and on Saturday, February 13th, they were held at the St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Blair. Mrs. C.N. Sutton was soloist. Interment was in the Blair Cemetery with the Campbell Mortuary in charge.

Pallbearers were Gordon Vinton, Joseph F. Brown, Harold Wright, Robert Hunt, Neil Sutton, and Herb Kolterman.
