Stella was the Daughter of Frederick Begeman,& Melissa Jane Bedwell. She married Oliver Perry Mounts and had eight children. 5 Sons, Arvel, Sam, Arthur, Elmo,& Lester, 3 daughters Lavina, Forest, and Minnie. She was preceded in death by her husband Oliver in 1921 who was killed in an mining accident. Stella lost her battle with stomach cancer and passed away in the Fall of 1938. Her one dream was to see that all her children graduated from high school which they did even with the corrupt politics of Pleasantville and Sullivan County all her children did gradutate from high school.
