Myrtle Ruth Jackson was born May 22, 1916 in Johnson City, TN to Arvel and Eugenia Jackson. She passed away July 5, 2014 in Dallas, TX at the age of 97 of natural causes. She was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Dallas, TX. Retired after 30 years of service at Veterans Hospital of Dallas and Veterans Hospital, Tennessee. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews in TX, FL and NM. A special thanks to family members, Carolyn and Ron Sparks, Henry and Jeanette Shaw and longtime friends and neighbors for their loving care and support, Bernice Kuziola, Johnson City, TN; Sammy Frazier, Marilee and Keith from her residence at Rice Apartments in Dallas, TX. A private burial at Laurel Land Dallas is scheduled for Monday, July 8, 2013.
