BLUEFIELD – John Harry ‘Cowboy' Graham, 81, of Bluefield, formerly of Skygusty, died Wednesday, March 11, 1992 at a Princeton hospital.
Born September 17, 1910 at Dearing, he was a son of the late Aaron and Mary Elizabeth Shrader Graham.
He was a member of the Long Point Missionary Baptist Church on Spencer Curve and a retired coal miner from US Steel. He was a member of the UMWA and a veteran of WWII having served with the US Army.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Sexton Graham; three brothers and two sisters.
Survivors: sons, John (Terry) Graham, Jr. of Skygusty and George Graham of Troutdale, Va,; daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Cricket) Fowler of Pageton and Wanda Graham of Pageton; isiters, Ruby Casey of Montcalm, Sally Belle Harman of Tannersville, Va., Julie Graham of Jenkinjones, Edna Freeman of Wilmington, De., and Bobbie Watts of San Antonio, Tx.; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral wil be at 11 a.m. Sunday at the Douglas Mortuary Chapel in Welch with the Rev. Jimmy Sanson officiating and burial at the Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, Va.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Reuben Setrakian, Earl Davis, Rufus Shrader, Bill Casey, Ken Bolen and Eddie Hughes.
