Harry Ernest Jones, 85, 1500 Milam, died 1 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 18, 1955 at Thurmon's Rest Home, Amarillo, Tex. He was a resident of Amarillo for 50 years and a former owner of Jones' Paint Store.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Lucille Jane Comer Jones; one son, Jewell P. Jones, 1520 Parker; two grandchildren, Kathleen and Don Jones.
Funeral services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the Griggs Pioneer Chapel with Rev. J. P. Lusby, Pleasant Valley Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park cemetery.
The pallbearers are W. T. Cooke, John Moore, Fred Warren, Jack Thomas, W. K. Beauregard and Homer Duvall.
