Alvin Eugene Boykin , 88, died Tuesday at Tuomey Healthcare Systems of Sumter. He was born in Lee Co., a son of the late J. Willie J. and Dora Boykin . He was a member of the Virginia Wingard United Methodist Church of Columbia. He was a retired agent with Independent Life and Accident Insurance Company and was the first agent to receive a 25 year award.
