Mary Magdelene "Maggie" Beeson was born on October 22, 1910, in Cut and Shoot, Montgomery, Texas, the daughter of Mary Jane Outlaw and Benjamin A "Benj" Benson. She married Raymond Lee Parr on January 26, 1929, in Harris County, Texas. They had four children: Dorothy Mae, Donald Lee, Jo Ann and Larry Wayne. She died as a young mother on October 4, 1945, in Houston, Harris, Texas, at the age of 34. She was buried in Conroe, Montgomery, Texas in the Freeman Cemetery. She was the 2nd cousin 1X removed of my husband. (Parr)
