OWEN Services for Harley M. German, 92, Owen, who died at 5:15 a.m. Thursday at Colonial House Living Center, Colby, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Maurina Funeral Home, Owen. The Rev. John Steiner will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Withee. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. He was born April 27, 1898, in Black River Falls, to Silas and Amelia (Church) German. He married Loretta Melvin Aug. 6, 1923. He farmed in the town of Hoard for 30 years. He also was a milk hauler for White House Milk Co., Abbotsford, retiring in 1965. He retired from farming in 1981. He had been a resident at the Living Center for the past two years. He is survived by his wife; four sons, Harold and Marvin, both of Thorp, Donald of St. Paul, Minn., and Warren of Owen; 24 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, two daughters, Margaret and Jeanette, one son, Harley, and two grandchildren
