MARION - The remains of Charlie Baker, former citizen of Marion, were buried here yesterday from the Marion Methodist church. Mr Baker was found dead in his bed Monday morning in Florence, where he has been living for some time, engaged in the automobile business. Heart trouble and other complications was the cause of his death.
Mr Baker was under 30 years of age and had many friends in Marion, where he grew up. He is survived by the following brothers, Robert Baker, Leroy Baker and Archie Baker, all of them live in this section. The parents of the deceased are dead. The Rev W. I. Herbert conducted the funeral services and the interment was in the old Methodist cemetery.
