The funeral of Mrs Mary Winters, wife of Thomas Winters of Shunpike was held Aug 15 at St Joseph's Church. Mrs Winters underwent a very serious operation for cancer on Thursday last at St Francis hospital, and up until the day of her death, everything seemed very satisfactory. She died about 5:30 pm on Saturday, Aug 12, after having two sinking spells that day. She leaves a host of relatives and friends to mourn her loss.
