The Bowling Green native was a daughter of the late William Brett and Beatrice Campbell Basham and is preceded in death by a sister, Martha Marty. Jane was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom, and volunteered as a Foster Grandparent in Allen County from 2004-2008 where she was lovingly referred to as "Granny Jane". She was a graduate of Bowling Green High School, a life time member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Park City Chapter 128 in Bowling Green, a member of the Senior Citizens in Allen County and member of the Smiths Grove United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Susal Elrod Hatcher and her husband David of Glasgow; two grandsons, Michael D. Hatrhcer (Corey) of Pee Wee Valley and Richard M. Hatcher ( Jodi) of Scottsville; two sisters, Juanita Hammond and Charlotte Hudson; three brothers, Raymond
Bashan, Harry Basham and Larry Basham all of Bowling Green; two great grandsons, Luke Henry Hatcher and Halen Green; several nieces and nephews and special friends, Mary Hatcher and the Boka Family.
Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial in Fairview Cemetery #2. Visitation 4:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday and 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
