The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Faith Funeral Home Chapel in Havana. Internment will follow at Concord Cemetery with Military Honors, and Pastor Bill Bess officiating.
Scott was born August 17, 1964 in Jacksonville, FL. The son of John L. Eiland and The late Jean Marie Billings Eiland. Scott was a U. S. Army veteran serving in the 82nd Airborne.
He was a Master Carpenter. Scott was an avid Gator Fan. His family best describes Scott as just a "Country Boy" He loved his family, and would do anything for anybody.
Scott is preceded in death by his mother Jean Marie Billings Eiland, and a grandson Clayton Smith.
