IMPERIAL BEACH, [interred] June 10 [died 8 Jun 1948]. Special Funeral arrangements are pending at the Berge-Roberts Mortuary National City for Mrs. Ella Hodges, 75 of 161 Elm St. Imperial Beach, who died yesterday in a Chula Vista rest home.
Born [May 22 1873] in Springfield, MO, Mrs. Hodges moved to Imperial Beach 8 years ago. She is survived by four sons, E. H. Oury of Knoxville, TN.; Comdr. W. P. Oury, USN of Providence, RI; Thomas C and Robert H. Oury Jr. both of San Jose and two daughters, Mrs. Ruby Mae Clark of Imperial Beach and Mrs. Jewell Jordan of San Jose.

Married in 1894 to Rev Robert Henry Oury, Williard Park Cemetery, Harrimon, Roane County, TN. Before 1930 she married John Franklin Hodges in Knoxville. He died on 23 Dec 1939 and is at Lynnhurst Cemetery. He had no FaG memorial as of Aug 2023.
