Mrs. Bernard Wobbema, 73, of Sioux Center died Tuesday in a Sioux City hospital.

Services were held Friday in the First Christian Reformed Church of Orange City. The Rev. John Hellinga and the Rev. Thomas C. Vanden Heuvel officiated. Burial was in West Lawn Cemetery. Visitation was Thursday in the Van Etten-Oolman Funeral Home.

Mrs. Wobbema, the former Irene Tamminga, was born Oct. 19, 1909, in the Netherlands and came to the United States when a child.

She married Bernard Wobbema June 16, 1931, at Sioux Center, and they made their home in Orange City. He died March 9, 1980. She moved to Sioux Center two years ago.

She was a member of the First Christian Reformed Church.

Survivors include two sons, Preston of Sioux Falls, S.D. and Bill of Sioux Center, three daughters, Mrs. Otto (Judy) Faber of Orange City, Mrs. Harold (Mary) Van Otterloo of Rock Valley and Mrs. Larry (Carolyn) Fisher of Grand Rapids, Mich., one sister Mrs. Hans (Sadie) Faber of Sioux Center, two brothers, William of Holland, Mich., and Ray of Bellflower, Calif., 20 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
