Her husband Henry is buried in New Harmony Cemetery, but her death certiciate said she is buried here, so not sure where she is yet.
Hattie Ella (Jones) Herring is my husband's great grandmother. Back in the 1970's, when I first started working on family history, her grandson, Ralph Herring Kerns, (an LDS member who had worked on genealogy) told me his grandmother was buried at LaDue Cemetery. Ralph was born in 1918, making him 10 years old at the time of his grandmother's death. He described to me exactly where his grandmother was buried. He also told me she had a tombstone beside her husband in New Harmony Cemetery, but that she was definitely not buried there.
Since her daughter, Ralph's mother, Mary Elizabeth (Herring) Kerns lived until 1948, Ralph would have ample time to visit the cemetery with his mother. Ralph also told me that Hattie Ella Jones Herring has no tombstone in LaDue Cemetery, LaDue, Henry County, Missouri, even though it is her final resting place. No actual correction is needed as you show her as buried in LaDue Cemetery, but I thought you would appreciate this verification of the facts.
