Mr. Michael Dean Benton age 67 of Winnabow died Sunday June 23, 2013 at Wilmington Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Mr. Benton was born in Brunswick County on February 4, 1946 and was the son of the late Marcella and Addie Cumbee Benton. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran.
He is survived by two children, Christopher Benton and Tracy Hickman of Wilmington; three brothers, Conrad Benton of Winnabow, Reverend Martin Linwood Benton of Delco, Reverend Kenneth Benton of Middlesex; three sisters, Nettie Jane Taylor of Warner Robbins, Ga., Marjorie Wolfe of Winnabow, Cheryl Hollis of Hampstead and three grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Saturday June 29, 2013 at 11am at New Hope Presbyterian Church officiated by his brothers, Reverend Martin Linwood Benton and Reverend Kenneth Benton.
