Betty was a long time member of Faith Lutheran Church. She was a Sunday school teacher, a member of the Lutheran Women Missionary League and the Women of Faith. She was an Altar Guild Chairman for many years and a volunteer at Manor Care of Arlington Heights for over 20 years
