She was born February 4, 1928 in Elizabethville , daughter of the late Raymond C., and Beulah (Bear) Campbell.
She had retired from the former Willits Shoe factory in Halfiax. She also had worked from a young age at the Kepler Home , Elizabethville.
She was the widow of William C. Wertz.
Survivors include 2 sons, WIlliam N., husband of Helen Wertz, Paxton and John R, husband of Diana Wertz, Halifax; Sister, Jean Shultz, Millersburg. 3 Grandchildren, Connie Bixler, Wiconisco, Jeffery Wertz, Enola and Chelsie Michaels, Halifax; 5 Great Grandchildren, Megan and Michael Bixler, Kyla Drumm, Adyson Wertz and Peyton Michaels.
She was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Earl , Fred , Glenn and Raymond Campbell; 4 Sisters, Catherine Shertzer, Yvonne Buffington, Marion Zimmerman and Patricia Michaels.
The family will receive friends at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Homes, Inc., Elizabethville on Thursday, April 25, 2013 from 10 to 11 AM Services at 11:00 am with Rev. Dale Parker officiating. Burial in Enders Cemetery, Halifax.
